From December 16th to 23rd, the DOPE team continues its beloved tradition of collaborating with shelters and orphanages across Malawi to bring festive cheer to underprivileged children. This annual initiative, which began in 2009 as a personal outreach by Director Sharmila Elias in her Johannesburg kitchen, has since grown to reach over 10,000 children.

This year, more than 1,000 children across Malawi will receive a nutritious meal, a small gift, and enjoy fun activities, all aimed at making their festive season a little brighter. The program, which costs just MWK 3,500 (USD 2.50) per child, is made possible through generous donations and the support of kind-hearted individuals like you.
